AUTHORS
Thank you for your interest in Purple Sword Publications. We are not accepting submissions at this time. We are a by invitation only publisher and not open to submissions from outside our contracted author pool. Any unsolicited synopses, partials, or complete manuscripts sent to our email address or mailed to our business office by an author or agent will be deleted unread, without exception. We do not reply to general inquiry letters or letters asking for invitations to submit. Invitations to submit are on an as needed basis at the discretion of the owner based on needs for a specific genre. Should there be a need to open for submissions, an announcement will be made on our newsgroup and the opening will also be listed here.

WHY NOT OPEN TO SUBMISSION?
Understand that Purple Sword is a small publishing company, and part of our mission statement requires that we not outgrow our authors and our ability to serve them. Purple Sword is committed to never becoming an author mill. We pay our authors 50% royalty on their works, and we never charge our authors any publication fees. We will not open to submissions unless we have the staff, editors, and cover artists contracted to meet those needs. 

COVER ARTISTS
Purple Sword is not actively seeking artists at this time. Links sent for review will be kept until such a time as an artist position becomes available.

EDITORS
If you have past editing experience, you may apply providing your contact information and references. Editors are paid a flat fee based on word count. Do not apply if you have no editing experience, are uncomfortable reading erotic works or works that portray homosexuality, paranormal themes, horror, science fiction, or fantasy as we publish those types of stories. Purple Sword has the highest respect for our authors' voices, and editors with Purple must have that same respect. Inquiries may be sent to PurpleSwordPublications (at) Yahoo.com.
