Tell readers what inspires you to write and what led you to take up writing on a regular basis:

I’ve been an avid reader of fantasy for longer than I care to admit. The tales of J.R. Tolkien, Terry Goodkind, George Martin, Robert Jordan and Piers Anthony, to name a scant few, delivered me into worlds I never wanted to leave. They taught me that an imagination is limitless. As a writer, it was my first love genre to write. There’s nothing more exciting than creating new worlds and characters, and unleashing them on to my readers.

What year were you first published, what was the title of that book, and what did you learn from that first work?

The exact year I became published escapes me, but I know it was in the early 2000’s. I’d submitted two different genre manuscripts to two publishers...both were accepted. The most important lesson I’d learned on the road to publication is that no two publishers are alike.

What do you hope fans come away with after reading your stories?

With every novel I write, I like to take my readers on an adventure—where mage’ic comes alive and the outcome of battles between good and evil will always be a surprise. Foremost, I want my readers to come back wanting more.
